Hi, I'm Georgia Roncon

I'm the founder of Powerful Skills Academy and the author of the Manxie Books series.

But before I became an author—or even a mother—I was simply someone searching for answers.

Throughout my own life, I kept returning to the same questions.

How do we become more confident?

How do we recover from criticism or rejection?

How do we make thoughtful decisions when emotions feel overwhelming?

How do we recognize healthy and unhealthy relationships?

How can I build wealth to support my family and lifestyle?

How can I become everyday a little better than yesterday?

Like many people, I realized these weren't skills I had been intentionally taught growing up.

They weren't subjects in school.

And often, they weren't conversations happening at home either.

That realization became the beginning of a lifelong journey.

A Lifelong Search for Practical Answers

Over the years, I immersed myself in the study of communication, philosophy, psychology, education, and emotional intelligence.

My thinking has been shaped by both these fields of study and the work of thinkers such as Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, Epictetus, Carl Jung, Niccolò Machiavelli, Friedrich Nietzsche, and many others who explored how people think, grow, make decisions, and develop inner strength.

What fascinated me most wasn't simply learning new ideas.

It was asking a different question:

How can these ideas become practical tools that ordinary families can actually use?

Because knowledge is valuable.

But knowledge only changes lives when it becomes something people can understand, remember, and put into practice.

Becoming a Mother Changed Everything

When I became a mother, those questions suddenly became much more personal.

Watching my own children navigate friendships, disappointment, frustration, self-doubt, mistakes, and everyday challenges made me realize something important.

Children don't need more lectures.

They need practical tools they can remember in the exact moment they need them.

I also began to recognize something else.

Many of us parent through patterns we inherited ourselves—often without even realizing it.

Our own childhood experiences quietly influence the way we respond to our children.

I wanted to help break that cycle.

Not by creating another parenting theory.

But by creating practical methods that help both parents and children grow together.

Why I Created Powerful Skills Academy

Powerful Skills Academy was born from a simple belief.

Children deserve to learn the practical skills that prepare them for real life.

Skills like emotional resilience.

Confidence.

Communication.

Decision-making.

Healthy relationships.

Financial literacy.

Leadership.

Problem-solving.

And many more.

Some of those skills begin with stories.

Some through conversations.

Some through practice.

Together, they become the foundation children carry into adulthood.

Building Practical Methods

Every method we create begins with one question:

How can we make this simple enough for a child to remember?

That's why Powerful Skills Academy develops practical frameworks like:

• Magic Mirror Method™

• Detective Method™

• Armor Method™

• POWER Method™

• CHOOSE Method™

Each method teaches one meaningful life skill through simple, memorable steps that families can practice together.

My Hope

When I think about Powerful Skills Academy, I don't just think about the next book.

I think about future conversations between parents and children.

I think about children learning to believe in themselves.

Families navigating difficult moments with more confidence.

And generations passing these practical life skills on to the next.

That's the kind of guidance I wish I had received growing up.

It's the kind of guidance I hope to leave for my own children.

And it's what inspires every story, guide, video, course, and method we create.
